These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchase of and access to the NEXUS short-form video editing membership (the “Membership”), provided by NEXUS, a business based in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By purchasing or using the Membership, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not purchase or use the Membership.
NEXUS is an online educational membership providing access to a structured library of short-form video editing training.
The Membership is designed to teach video editing skills using software including DaVinci Resolve and CapCut.

NEXUS is available on the following subscription plans:
Weekly: $9.99 per week
Monthly: $19.99 per month
The applicable price, billing frequency and any applicable taxes will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Unless otherwise stated at checkout, your selected Membership will automatically renew at the applicable billing interval until cancelled.
You authorise the applicable payment provider to charge your selected payment method for each renewal payment.
Access to the current Membership content begins after successful payment and account creation.
The Membership is delivered entirely online. No physical goods are shipped.
Your access continues while your subscription remains active and payments are successfully processed.
Content that has already been released remains available to you while your Membership remains active.
If your subscription ends or is cancelled, your access to the Membership and its content may be removed at the end of the applicable paid period, unless otherwise required by law.
A new module is intended to be released on the first Tuesday of each month.
Release schedules may occasionally change due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
New content does not necessarily form part of the 11 core modules required for the certificate of completion.
We reserve the right to modify, replace, reorganise or update course content where reasonably necessary, provided that we do not use this right to materially misrepresent the Membership or deprive you of rights you have under applicable law.
NEXUS is an educational skills course.

Your results will depend on factors including your existing knowledge, effort, practice, creative ability, use of the material and circumstances outside our control.
The Membership is provided for educational purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, tax, investment, employment or business advice.
NEXUS provides education relating to third-party software, including DaVinci Resolve and CapCut.
You are responsible for obtaining and maintaining any software, hardware, internet connection, equipment or third-party account required to use the course.
We do not control third-party software or services and are not responsible for changes, interruptions, pricing, availability, compatibility or functionality of third-party products.
You must comply with the applicable terms and licences of any third-party software you use.
Where an account is required to access the Membership, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

You must notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.
All course videos, written materials, project files, LUTs, caption presets, graphics, branding, text, recordings and other materials provided as part of the Membership (“Course Materials”) are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Your Membership gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to access and use the Course Materials for your own personal educational purposes while your Membership is active.
Unless expressly permitted by us in writing, you must not:
You may use your own completed edits and projects for your personal or commercial creative work, subject to any third-party rights contained in those projects or assets.
Where downloadable resources are provided, they are provided for your personal educational use.
You may download and use project files, LUTs and caption presets as permitted by the relevant lesson and these Terms.
You must not redistribute the downloadable resources as standalone products or use them to create a competing resource library.
Members may submit one edit per month for written tutor feedback.
Feedback is educational guidance and is not a guarantee that an edit will achieve any particular result.
We may impose reasonable technical or file-size requirements for submissions.
Feedback may take a reasonable amount of time to provide depending on submission volume.
The members-only Q&A forum is provided for educational discussion and support.
You must not use the forum to:
We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access to the forum where reasonably necessary to protect members, the service or our legal rights.
A certificate of completion may be issued after completion of the 11 core modules.
The certificate confirms completion of the specified educational programme. It does not constitute an academic qualification, professional accreditation, employment qualification or guarantee of competence.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers, which may include Stripe and PayPal.
We do not generally receive or store your full payment card number.
You agree to provide accurate billing information and to maintain a valid payment method for your subscription.
If a payment fails, access may be restricted or suspended until the payment issue is resolved.
You may cancel your subscription at any time using the cancellation method made available through your account or by contacting us at:

Cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not ordinarily entitle you to a refund for a period that has already been paid for, except where a refund is required by applicable law or otherwise expressly approved by us.
Your access will normally continue until the end of the paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory cancellation or consumer rights that apply to you.

We do not provide voluntary refunds simply because you change your mind, stop using the Membership, fail to complete the course, or do not use all available content after access has been provided, except where required by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, including applicable rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or improperly provided digital content or services.
Where applicable law gives you a cancellation or refund right, that right will continue to apply.
We aim to keep the Membership available and accessible, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, technical problems, hosting issues, internet outages, security incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We will take reasonable steps to restore the service where an interruption occurs.
We may update or improve the Membership from time to time.
This may include adding, removing, replacing or reorganising lessons, resources or features.
Where a change materially affects your contractual rights, we will provide any notice required by applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary if you:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

We do not guarantee any particular learning, creative, professional, financial or commercial outcome.
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for losses, liabilities, claims and reasonable costs arising from your material breach of these Terms, misuse of the Membership or infringement of another person's rights.
This clause does not apply to the extent that the relevant loss was caused by our own breach of contract, negligence or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances reasonably outside our control, including major internet outages, hosting failures, cyber incidents, third-party service outages, natural disasters, government action, war, industrial disputes or other events beyond our reasonable control.

By using the Membership, you acknowledge that your personal information may be processed as described in that Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless you are a consumer living in another part of the United Kingdom and mandatory local law provides otherwise.
If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes any mandatory rights or protections available to you under applicable consumer law.
